To check what you’ve just recorded...
Press the joystick (G) in briefly to play the last recording.
(If you’ve been listening to recordings from an audio field-guide, press and hold the joystick in until you start to hear the title of the audio field-guide(s). When you hear “Last Recording”, press it again.
To upload your recordings to a PC/Mac...
- Connect the supplied cable between your PC/Mac and the RememBird recorder (D)
- Start the RememBird application on your PC/Mac.
- Click the first button on the toolbar (“Upload Recordings”)
- It will ask you where each day’s recordings were made.
- It then uploads them, labelling them with date and time and deletes them from the recorder, freeing its memory for your next trip.
To replay your recordings on the PC/Mac...
Simply click on the recordings shown on screen to play them
If you want to annotate your recordings...
Use the sofware provided to note the location, your companions, the highlights etc. You can retrieve recordings by date/time or by location.
